Keiko (KAY-ko) is the older, smaller one and Mochi (MO-chee) is the younger, larger one. (That’s the short version.) I think he’s pretty fabulous. We met in college, bonded over writing and good grammar (yeah, we’re kinda nerdy), fell in love, graduated from college, got engaged, got married 5 months later, and are now-five years later-expecting a baby boy.

I blog primarily to have a record of our day-to-day life, keep up with family and friends, and make new friends. And spares my sweet husband some of the onslaught. A little of all those things pop up around here.Įven though I’m an introvert, I have a certain number of words I’ve just got to get out, and this little blog helps with that problem situation. Not necessarily in that order. I’m also a wannabe foodie, a little crunchy (you know, like granola), and a born-again Christian. I love writing and blogging (hey, go figure!), gardening (mostly flowers, but vegetables more and more), my dogs, making lists, my husband, reading books, using parenthesis, watching movies, and fixing up our house.
